- The Lead Learning Designer role is responsible for managing the e-learning curriculum roadmap (learning journey) and developing the proposed materials. They will set and manage the eLearning course strategy, helping it tie into the offline learning strategy, and coordinate internal and external eLearning team & resources to ensure the seamless execution of the roadmap. They will also be responsible for communicating and thorough documentation on all projects in order that the status is known and delivery targets are achieved.This role also needs to ensure the team understands the vision of JivaAcademy and how it aligns with overall learning strategy and guidelines. It is expected that the role will help manage other instructional designers in the Jiva Academy team, ensuring that the user experience of Jiva’s eLearning platform and curriculum is inline with the user’s goals.As the Learning Design team is still small, this is still a hands-on role with the expectation of direct participation in the development of materials in conjunction with managerial responsibilities.The main users that the Jiva Academy team creates for are Jiva’s Sahabat Jivas (micro collectors), who are contractors that work with Jiva to deliver our services to farmers. In addition to Sahabat Jivas, Jiva has recently started development of internal training curriculums for various teams across Jiva; starting with the field and operations team. The Lead Learning Designer will be likewise responsible for helping create the curriculum and content for these internal users.**Key Accountabilities**
- Assesses training and development needs of Jiva’s users and partners through surveys, interviews, group discussions, and communications with managersCreates and executes on Jiva’s eLearning strategy and curriculum development alongside senior management and leaders across the business
-Oversees the development and co-creation of training materials such as guides, toolkit, e-courses etc. in line with training needs
-Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements
-Helps oversee the development of reports and insight analysis to identify new opportunities
-Assesses training materials
-Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback
-Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training, eLearning and professional development
-Push activation rate by completing online training
-Able to manage direct reports to execute the project
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Highly experience in using LMS (Learning Management System) and designing eLearning curriculums and contentExperienced in developing training materials for large contract workforces, and/or in-field operations (or sales) teams
Strong understanding of assessment/evaluation techniques for segmenting learnings
-Deep experience in producing training content (video, audio, gamification, etc)
Familiarity with in-app guides and content systems that can help boost online learning (e.g. Pendo, Clevertap, etc)
-Eager to work in a rapidly changing, dynamic start-up environment;
-Experienced in managing 2-5 direct reports
- Able to speak and write English and Indonesian fluently.
**Competencies**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education technology, Communication, or related field.minimum 7 years experience as an e-learning specialist / Instructions designer / Module Developer / Learning Designer for a startup, technology company, or educational institution.
-Worked in “tech startups” before with an understanding of the development to product release process, and where training supports
-Experienced in using LMS (Learning Management System)
-Proficient in video editing, storyboarding videos, and script writing
-Experienced in creating and owning content calendars, and ensuring timely delivery against deadlines
- Fluent written and spoken English and Bahasa
