**Get to Know the Role**:
Analyst, Data PE is the data centre of the city. You will be responsible to support all functions related to number crunching, data analysis as well as tracking and reporting. You would need to fully collaborate with the team in order to build a data and number-driven strategy. This position is also responsible for bridging the city operation team to include but not limited to tech, engineering, marketplace, product, etc. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are what you need to help grow the business.

**The Day-to-Day Activities**:

- You will work with large data sets and derive business recommendations through compelling statistical evidence-based research and visualisation.
- Run SQL queries, provide reports or updates
- Define key metrics to evaluate the health of our business teams & programs
- Discover & drive program initiatives through data-driven recommendations and partner with cross-functional teams to implement/launch them
- Manage data models to bring order and insight to complex data sets
- Leverage existing Python abstractions and/or other visualisation tools to design and develop new user-facing tools & dash-boarding systems to empower partner teams
- Communicate findings from data and analyses to stakeholders, influencing them to make the best decisions possible
- Design market intelligence metrics and performance measurement dashboards for Grab Transport and Delivery
- Develop frameworks to analyse business problems, develop hypotheses, mine data, deliver recommendations, and assess the impact of proposed solutions
- Perform analysis & research plans to support the decision-making process

**The Must-Haves**:

- You have Heart, Hunger, Honour, and Humility
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering), or equivalent experience/expertise
- Good written and spoken English
- 1-3 years of work experience in consulting or a technology-related analytical role
- Strong analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data and providing practical business insights
- Strong process-oriented skills and drive to find the most efficient way to do things without sacrificing a high quality of work and/or results
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, PowerBI, and spreadsheet softwares
- Ability to partner cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, operations, product management, and/or sales

**The Nice-to-Haves**:

- Experience in working with large data sets and distributed computing tools (Presto, Athena) is a plus
- Experience in building dashboards with visualisation tools such as Microsoft Power BI/ Tableau is a plus
