**The Role**

The Retail Assistant role is dedicated to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the store’s administrative and operation;
- ; execute, roll out, and follow up on any ideas of improvement in retail stores. You also will be responsible to - support all verticals in retail Head Office which will drive the business in each store. - will help drive the business in each store.

Main Responsibilities:

- Retail Administrative & Support _
- Compile name list in the disciplinary matrix and communicate with Store Managers on any change in statuses.
- Compile staff compliments for all stores.
- Ensure stores’ family trees are updated according to employee movements.
- Collect all HR/misc documents from the store and direct the documents to the necessary HO departments.
- Pack and distribute welfare/welcome packs for new joiners.
- Collate evaluation score sheets of all stores every quarter.
- Update retail employee list with new joiners, resignees, and transfers.
- Coordinate distribution and return of uniforms for joiners and leavers.
- Provide cashier and alterations training; supervise retail employees to deliver solutions that are efficient, accurate, and aligned with company policies.
- Work with the Area Supervisor to improve the team’s productivity by coordinating training across different functions; ensuring smooth communication and preparation with all stakeholders.
- Provide support to overseas counterparts in rolling out retail initiatives.
- Store Operations_
- Collect the sales summary and ensure it is updated correctly.
- Provide assistance for any major events. (e.g. new store set up & opening)
- Purchase goods and supplies as necessary for all stores.
- Engage existing vendors to perform store maintenance works.
- Coordinate routine lalamove trips to and across stores.
- Keep track of stock movement from stores to HO.
- Keep track of in store alterations & gift cards inventory.
- Participate in cycle counts by coordinating with all SICs on the SKUs shortlisting and pasting of reports.
- Update announcements portal (Padlet) for new announcements posted in Whatsapp chat.
- Be the key operations liaison personnel for all stores - ensure that any key operational information is promptly and accurately delivered from HO to retail teams.
- Liaise with cross-functional departments and external vendors to troubleshoot operational tech & equipment, such as POS issues, fabric & production defects, resolving customer grievances etc.
- Manage user feedback on internal systems, and coordinate with the relevant stakeholders to provide after systems support and determine solutions. Set timelines and manage production, execution, and accuracy of new initiatives or operational procedures.
- Constantly reinvent and improve operational workflows, investigating, and providing long and short term solutions to arising issues.
- Coordinate and ensure timely set up of stores for inventory stocktake and inventory discrepancies.
- Support planning, organisation, and execution of retail events and be present where required.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

- Previous relevant experience in Customer Service or Retail Operations preferred, but not required.
- Diploma in any field.
- Desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Good team player, highly initiative, diligent, and fun-loving.
- Meticulous with details and works with a positive attitude to meet deadlines.
