As a Project Engineer, you will work on project engineering, Commissioning, and post commissioning service job in Process Industries such as Pulp & Paper, Metals, Cement, Mining, Food & Beverage, Data center etc. Reporting to Engineering Manager. This position would require around 60% travel across mostly in Indonesia and in some cases to other Southeast Asian countries.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.)
- Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities. Preparing project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables
- Providing quality solutions as per customer requirements and delivering within budget and contract
- Creating work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensuring quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost Improving effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions
- Assisting customers on technical issues, interacting with official contacts, contractors, and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables. Assisting communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings
- Collaborating with the Supply Chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed on with potential suppliers
- Assigning tasks to and coordinating work with entry level engineers, technicians, administrative staff
- Ensuring that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements. Reporting processes and tools inefficiencies and suggests improvements ideas
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering from an accredited institution
- Good knowledge of ABB 800xA system Knowledge of ABB other control system, PP libraries, Mineral Libraries will be an added advantage
- Good Understanding of Automation Project Execution Requirements
- Knowledge on Instrumentation and Control with PLC and Application Background will be preferred
- Knowledge of Industrial communication, Profibus, Modbus TCP, OPC will be preferred
- Able to operate with Windows Operating Systems (MS Server 2016/2019 and Windows 10)
- Good knowledge on MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Knowledge on AutoCAD or Visio will be preferred
- Good communication skills in Bahasa and English
