About the role:
Our Driver Partners are one of the key pillars of our business. From delivering food orders to transporting people and goods from one place to another, there is very little that they can’t do. As a product manager for the Driver Earnings & Experience team, you’ll take the wheel in solving driver partner problems, helping define product visions, and building these products to scale. You’ll be the gatekeeper of the core order booking flows in the Gojek driver app while also looking at other components to reduce driver’s friction on and off booking such as solving for supply demand imbalances, helping drivers maximize their earning potential etc. Working closely alongside talented designers, researchers, engineers, and data scientists, you'll craft beautifully simple solutions for our consumers and internal teams to enjoy. Your efforts will provide a reliable and high performing foundation that serves our driver-partners, ensuring they are given a frictionless and delightful experience.

**What You Will Do**:

- Own aspects of the end-to-end booking flow experience in Mobility of People (Ride Hailing) and Mobility of Things (food, groceries, e-commerce goods)
- Ideate and execute on new income opportunities for improving driver’s income by launching or supporting new services, innovations, removing any friction to earn money on the platform
- Be the voice of drivers - Constantly be in touch with drivers, actively listening with genuine empathy, in order to better articulate and prioritize their pains and gain, and validate designs and experiences before executing them
- Collaborate across regions, product areas, and functions to define and execute a holistic strategy to work towards business goals
- Own OKRs and drive the roadmap for the Driver Earnings and Experience cluster
- Define precise and well-scoped requirements documents that are easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences
- Leverage user research, usability studies, market research, experiments, and data analysis and translate them into requirements that solve real problems for a large set of users; partner with design/research team to facilitate problem-solving/co-design sessions
- Structure and lead conversations/meetings with cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business and marketing teams to formulate problem statements, develop launch strategy, and create product messaging and training
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or an equivalent degree), preferably in engineering or management
- At least 2 years of experience working as a product manager delivering highly successful and innovative consumer Internet products, exhibiting stellar design taste and product instincts
- An analytical, data-driven, quantitative mindset; a love for digging into data to understand what’s happening and to define & measure success on every project, with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, features
- Ability to break down complex problems and identify use cases and solutions that can be reused across multiple areas
- A nuanced understanding of data, design & research, software engineering, and business processes and the ability to partner effectively with those teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to weave strategy, insights, priorities, and plan forward into a structured and organized storyline at all levels of management
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to insist on high standards while managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with mínimal supervision
- Ability to collaborate with agile product development teams and excitement about identifying new ways to help your team be more effective

**About the Team**

The Driver Platform Group is responsible for building products & features which meet the end-to-end needs of our driver-partners. It directly impacts the livelihood of ~ 1 million driver-partners, socially & economically uplifting the lives of our drivers & their families. Our apps are operational across multiple countries in the Southeast Asian region, including Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam, and are growing rapidly. We are a team of 80+ talented software engineers, product managers, designers, researchers and data scientists spread across our various regions in South-East Asia.

The Earnings & Experience (E&E) team aims to improvise the earnings of the drivers with frictionless booking experience while providing the service to our consumers. Product innovation and reducing frictions on gaining organic income should have a direct impact on driver’s earnings. This E&E can achieve by focusing on improving the drivers’ booking experience as subpar app experience can lead to non-productive supply and unhappy customers.
