**Responsible Supply Chain Specialist**
Job Title: Responsible Supply Chain Specialist
Report to: Responsible Supply Chain Manager, Indonesia
Subordinate: None
Work Location: Jakarta, Indonesia.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Support the Responsible Supply Chain Manager in identifying the areas of risk to New Balance in respect of working conditions and Supplier Standards Manual.
- Performance Compliance Initial Assessment/Audits (Initial - New Onboard Factory) in Indonesia and other countries in Southeast Asia when necessary.
- Validate annual SLCP/FSLM and/or other annual assessment scheme onto FFC/Wordly.
- Review CAP (Corrective Action Plans) for assigned factories and advise on improvements. Assist factory remediation by advising on options, negotiating timeframes, sharing experiences and best practices and helping management locate the necessary expertise, materials, etc. Similarly, supervise the 3rd parties (Assessors/Auditors, ILO-BWI etc.) to ensure NB factories should follow and execute the CAP management properly.
- Providing proper advisory to NB factories (in term of NB Sprint Manual, Legal Law and other relevant laws reference)
- Support the Compliance Manager in leading Management System program including HR Management System, Internal Audit and ESH Management System.
- Initiate support on the assigned Program/Project(s) initiated by NB Strategic Development Team such as, RISE Program, Worker Dialogue & Worker Mobile App Projects. Also for the FLA-Fair Compensation Program under Program Management & Planning.
- Support SCB Country Leader to develop work plan for Supplier Capacity Building (SCB) and facilitate the SCB Workshops in Indonesia.
- Stay current on Country Law Requirements (Labor; Health & Safety plus Environment); Provide country level update of Compliance issues (government initiatives, changes in regulations, brands’ collaborations etc. affecting NB supply chain)
- Communicate with Global Compliance team leaders on factory Compliance issue when needed.
**Years of Relevant Work Experience Required**:At least 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing industry with focus on Compliance/CSR
**Educational Level Requirement**:Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Human Resource Management, Law or related Field.
**Foreign Language Requirement**:Fluent written and spoken English. Knowledge of local language and dialects in country of operation
**Travel**:Ability to travel independently. Frequent local travel and sometimes international
