Our squads implement Agile methods to quickly provide exciting digital solutions. As a Digital Product Owner at BFI, you will be responsible to maximize the impact of the products built by the team. You will capture the needs of all stakeholders in a Product Backlog that you co-develop and actively manage.
Collaborate closely with the Squad Leader to translate the product vision into measurable product goals, and to manage and prioritize the product backlog
Drive the discovery of business and end-user needs, and may collaborate with UI/UX researcher in the discovery process
Translate business and end-user needs into product requirements (e.g., process flows, data flows, product designs, product features, etc.)
Break down product features into epics and user stories in a product backlog
Collaborate with the Squad Leader and the Technical Lead to define the product roadmap and timeline that satisfy the business needs and the technical constraints
Min. 2 years direct experience in product ownership or product management in the development of software products
Ability to think strategically with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to breakdown complex problems into quantifiable actionable items
Experienced in defining product features and epics, writing user stories, and managing product backlog
Experienced with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Trello, Miro, etc.
Prior experience working with Agile SCRUM method
Basic understanding of SQL queries is a plus
Certification in product ownership or product management is a plus
