As a Test Probe Central Engineering - Component Test Equipment Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the development, improvement and qualification of new and existing equipment, software and processes.

You will work together with other functional groups locally and/or globally to design, develop and qualify equipment, processes and software, establish roadmaps, strategies and new equipment capabilities that enable organizational and business goals.

**Responsibilities and Tasks**
- Equipment and Process Development
- Develop and modify appropriate processes for product quality control, and production efficiency
- Qualify design changes to equipment or processes
- Establish design requirements, utilize design reviews and provide accurate quotations
- Design, fabricate, assemble, and qualify new designs
- Design with safety, ergonomic and Micron device quality considerations utilizing Design and Process FMEA
- Identify and determine origin of deviation, isolate cause and provide solutions
- Develop procedures, training, documentation, and specifications
- Develop expertise on engineering and software tools required to support the role (i.e. CAD software, force gauge, LN2 flow meter, data acquisition equipment)
- Utilize proper data collection techniques and make data driven decisions
- Create, implement, and complete conclusive design of experiments
- Learn and utilize the appropriate formats for summation and presentation of data and analysis such as SPC, FMEA, databases, charts, graphs, and reports
- Facilitate group decision making process, know when to seek direction/help from more senior engineering resources and take responsibility for decisions
- Be able to set goals, define task priorities and respond to changes in a positive manner, providing constructive feedback to appropriate people when necessary
- Be pro-active: anticipate and analyze problems
- Develop and maintain the respect of peers, leadership and customers
- Respond quickly and positively to all customers
- Re-prioritize work when customer needs change
