**Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:

- Coordination of all project services functions within the upstream deep-water oil and gas projects, ensuring the seamless delivery of project objectives.
- Work involves managing the project schedule, budget, and resource allocation, with a focus on cost control, risk management, and mitigating delays.
- Integrates services from various disciplines (engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, etc.) to ensure timely project execution.
- Ensures all services (procurement, contracting, risk management, document control, and safety management) are delivered in accordance with project specifications.
- Develops and manages contracts with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Negotiates contracts, resolves disputes, and ensures service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Monitors project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, and ensures cost-effective delivery.
- Implements cost control measures and reports to senior management on variances.
- Identifies potential risks to the project schedule, cost, and quality, and develops strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensures compliance with quality standards, regulations, and operational procedures, including those specific to deep-water environments.
- Reports on project status, milestones, and performance to stakeholders (internal and external), ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Provides support to senior management and project teams through timely updates and actionable insights.
- Ensures adherence to safety and environmental regulations, critical in offshore and deep-water operations, minimizing risks and promoting safe work environments.
- Participates in incident investigations and implements corrective actions as necessary.
- Leads a multi-disciplinary team of service managers and project coordinators, ensuring efficient collaboration across various departments.
- Mentors and develops team members while fostering a high-performance culture.

**Qualifications include but are not limited to the following**:

- Minimum bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields. A Masters degree in Project Management or an MBA can be an added advantage.
- Professional certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
- Min. 15+ years of experience in project services management within the oil and gas industry, particularly in upstream and deep-water sectors.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager, Project Controls Manager, or Services Manager in offshore projects or related fields is often required.
- Experience managing large, complex projects with multi-million dollar budgets and international teams is a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of offshore oil and gas operations, particularly in deep-water settings.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP).
- Knowledge of procurement, contract management, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and manage performance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with senior leadership, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- A comprehensive understanding of industry standards, such as ISO, API, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) regulations, and local regulations related to offshore oil and gas projects.
- Familiarity with HSE protocols, and the ability to implement them effectively in offshore project environments.
- Expertise in risk management strategies, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the project's budget, schedule, or safety.
- Experience working with global teams and managing projects in different geographical regions is a significant advantage, especially in international offshore oil and gas operations.
- A solid understanding of project financials, including cost estimating, budgeting, and cost control.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and present complex financials to non-financial stakeholders.
