About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Legal Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to our organization.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Reviewing and advising on legal documents, contracts, and policies.
  • Supporting the management of statutory obligations in relation to the JCLEC Foundation Articles of Association and Indonesian Foundation Law.
  • Conducting risk assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the JCLEC Foundation.
  • Maintaining effective relationships and communication with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal principles and practices, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a similar role, with a Law Degree.
  • Experience working in a bi-lingual, cross-cultural environment, and government sectors is highly desirable.
  • Bi-lingual, both conversationally and in writing - Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
