About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Shangri-La Hotel, Surabaya team as a Service Manager Engineering. You will be responsible for leading our engineering department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance activities of our hotel's facilities, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Supervise and train a team of engineering technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of hotel services and resolve any issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Diploma or Certificate in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
  • Have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools, such as CMMS and accounting systems.
