Channel Partner Strategist

Your Key Accountabilities
As Channel Partner Strategist, you will lead sales responsibility for managing Telkom Group/Strategic Indonesia accounts and channel partners in country. Your key objective will be to develop strategies for growing existing business and driving new sales with a hunting mentality. Business development, customer relationship management, and account management skills are essential for success in this position. You will collaborate with pre-sales and post-sales team members to achieve annual sales targets and other corporate objectives.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop go-to-market and strategic plans in Indonesia based on your understanding of market dynamics and competition.
- Create account plans for targeted accounts and drive in-country sales activities towards annual sales targets.
- Gather information on customer needs, their objectives, and purchasing processes.
- Identify, develop, and screen sales opportunities for new and existing customers.
- Collaborate with regional sales engineering, product line management, and sales operations teams to achieve sales and revenue objectives.
- Be responsible for direct and indirect sales activities and provide inputs for channel partner recruitment as needed.
- Familiarize yourself with good sales CRM habits and previous experience with Salesforce.com would be an asset.
- Possess technical background knowledge to learn about Ciena's solutions, including optical transmission, packet networking, and software technologies, and participate in regular trainings.
- Have a good understanding of the competitive landscape and regional business market.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
