About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Farm Manager to join our team at De Heus Indonesia. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in poultry farming, with a focus on parent stock management. As a key member of our farm management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the overall success and efficiency of our poultry farming operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Overall Farm Management: Oversee daily farm operations, including feed and water management, environmental control, biosecurity, and record-keeping.
  2. Breeding Program Development: Implement and monitor breeding programs to achieve optimal hatchability and chick quality.
  3. Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing farm team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  4. Financial Planning: Develop and manage farm budgets, controlling costs and maximizing profitability.
  5. Quality Control: Ensure compliance with quality standards, food safety regulations, and animal welfare guidelines.
  6. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production issues, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve farm performance.
  7. Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in poultry farming, with a focus on parent stock management.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of poultry breeding, nutrition, and health; strong leadership and interpersonal skills; proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Technology: Proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, farm management software).
  • Relocation: Willingness to relocate to different farm locations as required by business needs.
