Job Description

We're seeking an experienced HR Director to lead and manage our Human Resources team. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive business success. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the Human Resources team to achieve business objectives
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that support business growth
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the HR team and all employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Overseeing the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent
  • SUPPORTING EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT through various initiatives and programmes
  • Championing the development and maintenance of a strong organisational culture that supports business success
  • Ensuring compliance with labour regulations and best practices
  • Developing, implementing and managing succession planning, career development, and talent retention strategies
  • Maintaining and enhancing employee benefits programmes to improve job satisfaction
  • Fostering a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and conflict resolution
  • Developing and overseeing the company's performance management system, including setting objectives, feedback, and evaluation processes

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a seasoned HR professional with a proven track record of success in the FMCG/retail industry or similar fast-paced sectors. You should possess:

  • A university degree from a reputable institution
  • At least 15+ years of working experience within the HR department
  • Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficiency in HR software and analytics
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, compensation and benefits, and talent management
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders from blue-collar to C-suites
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, influencing, and communication skills in both English and Bahasa
  • Ability to be hands-on and willing to roll up sleeves and contribute
  • Strong business acumen and drive to place HR as a business partner instead of a support function
