About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Financial Accounting and General Ledger expert to join our team at TapTalent. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP Finance modules, particularly General Ledger Accounting, Financial Close, Asset Accounting, and Cash Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • General Ledger Accounting and Financial Close:
    • Configure and support SAP General Ledger accounting processes, including month-end and year-end financial close activities.
    • Implement Group Ledger for IFRS reporting.
    • Manage General Ledger allocation cycles and cash journal processes.
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable:
    • Support and configure SAP solutions for managing accounts receivable and overdue receivables.
    • Configure and maintain accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
    • Implement SAP Fiori Analytical Apps for financial accounting.
  • Asset Accounting:
    • Configure and manage SAP Asset Accounting, including Group Ledger IFRS compliance.
    • Manage Assets Under Construction (AUC) and intercompany asset transfers within the same country.
    • Implement SAP Fiori Analytical Apps for asset management.
  • Cash Management:
    • Manage and configure advanced bank account management, including maintaining signatory information and yearly bank account reviews.
    • Monitor and perform advanced cash operations, including bank transfers, bank payments, and bank statement processing.
    • Implement Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) to enable host-to-host bank integration with encryption, ensuring secure connectivity between SAP S/4HANA and financial institutions.
    • Receive and process bank statements in standard formats (e.g., MT940, CAMT.053).
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, leveraging SAP tools to enhance financial performance.
    • Implement and support SAP Fiori Analytical Apps for General Ledger and Finance, providing real-time insights into financial data.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with finance teams, business stakeholders, and other SAP functional consultants to ensure seamless integration of SAP financial solutions across the organization.
    • Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of SAP financial modules.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an SAP Financial Consultant, with a focus on General Ledger, Financial Accounting, and Cash Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and SAP Group Ledger configuration.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori Apps for financial processes and asset management.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, Multi-Bank Connectivity, and bank integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
  • SAP Certification in Finance modules (FI/CO).
  • Experience with SAP implementation projects and end-to-end financial process optimization.
  • Knowledge of SAP Central Finance and SAP Treasury & Risk Management is a plus.
