As a Compliance Expert for Financial Institutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations remain up-to-date and compliant with laws, regulations, and industry standards. Your solid understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards will be invaluable in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and implement legal credit operational programs, including policies and guidelines, documentation, training logs, and related policies/procedures.
- Prepare legal opinions and assistance on financing contracts based on applicable law and regulations, including drafting, reviewing, advising, and obtaining perfection of financing and security legal documentations.
- Manage, monitor, and administer public notary services to ensure effective and efficient processing of financing contracts, collateral checking, and pledging documentations.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams, including credit analysts, appraisers, and custodians, to ensure effective service level agreements based on company standard operating procedures.
- Provide regular reporting to management and submit accurate and timely reports to regulators to avoid sanctions or fines.
- Liaise with external regulators, such as the Land National Office, Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Courts, and other government agencies.
