We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Manager to drive timely research of forecasts and actuals, enabling real-time purchase or disposal of assets in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will support the demand planning managers with their daily activities.


Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in demand planning, forecasting, and supply chain management, with excellent communication and collaboration skills. They will be able to develop and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Customer Experience.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement demand planning processes, including updating relevant data sources and coordinating with the global supply chain team.
  • Review historical switch frequency and trends, researching demand drivers, customer propensity in terms of device mapping, preparing forecast data, developing statistical forecast models, and evaluating forecast results.
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, and Customer Experience to obtain and ensure current and accurate information for demand forecasts.
  • Manage local article masters and SKU creation as well as End of Life of our product range in alignment with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the monthly liquidation process of stock excess.
  • Compile and issue weekly and monthly KPI reports and ad-hoc requests for similar reports.
  • Release stock-to-order on a regular basis and recommend purchase order placement.
  • Assist and support in developing new ways of working as the business expands.

Requirements

  • A background in the mobile device sector is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills (including English) and ability to work independently are essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a demand planning/forecasting/supply chain role is essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or other relevant fields is desirable.
  • Experience of working with different geographical markets is desirable.
