- Identify student's individual needs to prepare unique learning programs that enhance their knowledge and ability.
- Formulate individualized learning programme to meet student's invididual needs which is consistent with the school's curriculum and standards.
- Assist and guide student with special needs in the development of their personal skills such as social skills or self-help skills.
- Maintain student's learning records in order to monitor the effectiveness of learning activity and teaching plan.
- Counsel student, parents and teachers about student's individual needs and progress and recommend additional support so the learning activity and teaching plan are conducted effectively.
- Monitor student activities ensure discipline behavior within the class, maintain student engagement and safe learning environment according to the school's standards.
- Recommend relevant teaching materials such as textbooks, guides, assets and other materials so teaching activities are delivered with high quality resources.
- Maintain relationships with students, parents, BSJ staff and other parties involved in the learning teaching activities
- To actively promote the well-being of all students and be familiar with, and uphold all, Safeguarding policies and Child Protection procedures within the school.
