Procesar todos los registros de ingreso de los huéspedes mediante la confirmación de las reservaciones en el sistema informático, la verificación de la identidad de los huéspedes, la solicitud de forma de pago, la asignación de las habitaciones y la entrega de las llaves de las habitaciones de conformidad con las políticas y los procedimientos del hotel. Manejar la terminal de central telefónica. Atender y resolver las solicitudes de los huéspedes, incluidas las solicitudes el servicio de despertador. Preparar informes diarios (cantidad de llegadas y salidas), identificar solicitudes especiales y revisar los informes para comprobar su exactitud. Revisar el registro de turnos de los empleados y los libros de memos diarios y documentar la información pertinente en los registros. Procesar todos los tipos de pagos realizados tales como los gastos de alojamiento y los pagos efectuados en efectivo, con cheques o tarjeta de débito o crédito. Computar y asegurar la caja. Realizar las actividades requeridas al finalizar la jornada, como anotar los cargos en las cuentas, realizar los informes de caja y de cierre, ejecutar la copia de seguridad de auditoría nocturna y cambiar la fecha. Imprimir y doblar los folios y asegurarse de que se coloquen debajo de la puerta de la habitación de cada huésped la noche anterior a su partida.

Cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad de la compañía; informar cualquier problema de mantenimiento, peligros para la seguridad, accidentes o lesiones; completar la capacitación y certificaciones sobre seguridad. Asegurarse de que tanto el uniforme como la apariencia personal sean pulcros y profesionales. Mantener la privacidad de la información propiedad de la compañía; proteger sus bienes. Apoyar a todos los compañeros de trabajo y tratarlos con dignidad y respeto. Dar apoyo al equipo para alcanzar metas comunes. Cumplir las expectativas y los estándares de aseguramiento de la calidad. Mover, levantar, transportar, empujar, arrastrar y colocar objetos con un peso inferior a 25 libras (11,25 Kg) o su equivalente sin asistencia. Estar de pie, sentarse o caminar durante períodos prolongados o durante el turno de trabajo completo. Leer y verificar visualmente información en varios formatos (por ejemplo, las letras menudas). Agarrar, dar vuelta y manipular objetos de varios tamaños y pesos, lo que requiere habilidades motrices finas y buena coordinación entre las manos y los ojos. Alcanzar por encima de la cabeza y debajo de la rodillas, incluso agacharse, girar la cintura, arrastrar e inclinarse. Acoger y reconocer a todos los huéspedes de acuerdo con las normas de la compañía. Hablar con otras personas usando un lenguaje claro y profesional; contestar las llamadas telefónicas usando la etiqueta apropiada. Mantenerse en alerta ante la posible aparición de personas objetables en la propiedad. Efectuar otras tareas de trabajo razonables solicitadas por sus supervisores.
