Head Engineer

**The Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our restaurants. You will be responsible for leading and building a team to provide comprehensive maintenance and repair services for all our facilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of maintenance and repair for 3 restaurant buildings, including but not limited to:

- Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Systems
- Kitchen Equipment (ovens, fryers, refrigerators, etc.)
- Furniture Repair and Maintenance
- Minor Painting and Touch-ups
- Grounds Maintenance (coordination with vendors)
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.
- Manage a team of technicians, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Source and procure parts and materials at competitive prices.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance logs, and inventory.
- Collaborate with restaurant managers and staff to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new technologies related to restaurant facilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of technicians.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, kitchen equipment, furniture repair, and basic construction principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license.
