**About this role**
This role will provide financial advice and support to the Indonesia office and manage the operational activities ensuring alignment, coherent accurate and insightful reporting, and accounting practices to support the needs of those areas you have responsibility for and our external stakeholders. Working in close collaboration across the finance functional areas in the Region and Global Financial Accounting Team.

**What will I do?**
- Work with the Regional Head of External Reporting and Financial Accounting (Asia Pacific) to deliver timetabled activities. Including but not limited to:

- Interim and year end reporting.
- Creating a work plan, establishing expectations and timelines to prepare for audits, etc.
- Overseeing systematic process/schedule for the annual WIP process.
- Performing a detailed review of the work done by the assistant accountant in the team.
- Plan and coordinate the preparation of financial statements, compliance, and audit of two entities based in Indonesia and assist with the preparation of annual taxation returns.
- Liaise with the UK on intercompany invoices as and when required and review monthly Indonesia Faktur Pajak (e-VAT invoice) and assist with the DGT1 form and COR requirement for Indonesia intercompany invoices.
- Preparation of LKPM investment report and submission to BPKM.

**What will I bring?**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in audit or similar accounting role.
- Experience in leading technical accounting teams within complex External Reporting, Finance and Statutory Accounting environments.
- Demonstrable experience in setting short/medium
- and long-term plans to support the goals for your areas of responsibility.
- Experience in stakeholder management including Board members, external auditors, and other individuals.
- Able to deliver Continuous Improvement initiatives for finance related processes and familiar with Risk and Issue management processes.
