**ROLES ‍‍**:

- A strong product mindset and deep understanding of user experience, you prioritise work with the customers in mind and make data-driven decisions to fix customer pain-points
- Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical audience
- Build UI components, libraries, tools, and services that power Spenmo's users, whether they're employers, employees, or internal users
- Ensure our UI component libraries and design systems are consistent, secure, and extensible
- Produce high-quality maintainable and testable code, collaboratively review and ship it
- Collaborate extensively with Senior Management, Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to develop features that drive our metrics
- Design and develop robust APIs and tools based on Spenmo’s customer needs
- Design product architecture and core infrastructure with long term reliability, scalability, and security in mind
- Lead/collaborate with teams across the company for the successful delivery of the product/technical roadmap, from inception to testing and operating in production
- Proactively identify and prioritise improvements to the team’s processes, codebases, and best practices
- Mentor engineers in their technical careers to help them grow

**SOUND LIKE YOU?**:

- 8+ years of experience developing and shipping production-grade software
- Experience working with backend programming languages(such as Golang and Laravel) and frontend programming languages (such as ReactJS)
- Experience with unit, integration, and E2E test frameworks
- Strong knowledge of REST and pub/sub design patterns
- Experience instrumenting tracing/monitoring system for ensuring the quality of the products in production (using tools such as Jaeger/Datadog/etc)
- Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases (schema design and query optimization)
- Familiarity with software engineering development cycles (Agile/Scrum) and development metrics
- Demonstrated experience in up levelling engineers
- You lead by example and aren't afraid to do what it takes to make Spenmo succeed
- Familiarity with ERP, Accounting and Account Payable software is a plus
