- As the Associate Director, Environment Lead APS you will l_ead the deployment and governance of Environment long term strategies (including policies, standards, sourcing strategies & capability building) in line with Business strategy. Define and lead environmental programs in CCEP-APS by permanently optimizing the processes so that the organization is able to meet the expectations of its customers and consumers, eliminating or mitigating environmental impacts._
**_ Key Responsibilities_**
- _ Lead and guide Country Leads with 2030-2040 carbon and water roadmaps for CSSC, sharing operational best practices across APS aligned with Europe and supporting capital planning processes ensuring effective prioritisation and project evaluation_
- _ Propose and lead projects in CSSC to ensure APS moves more reliably and safely towards established objective_
- _ Design and coordinate the rollout of Environment programs across APS ensuring that environment standards are consistently upgraded and adapted to new and existing activities and processes_
- _ Promote and optimise the Environmental performance of the business by designing, continuously upgrading and coordinating the roll out of ‘best in class’ Environmental program_
- _ Review legislative changes, franchise owner requirements (e.g. KORE), and customer expectations, updating the Environment strategy as necessary_
- _ Lead environmental risks assessments and develop, communicate and guide the implementation of strategies and programs to mitigate them. Provide Subject Matter Expert support to Environment Issues (IMT/IMCR)_
- _ Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to identify potential gaps and develop and exchange industry Best Practices_
- _ Implement the Dashboard/Scorecard that allows CCEP to know at all times the degree of evolution and performance of APS CSSC with respect to the commitments and public objectives defined in the strategy and prepare executive reports and presentations to be shared regularly with the LT_
- _ Build an Environment Subject Matter Expert network in APS, providing technical expertise and advise to PACS to define the CCEP Sustainability Strategy, determining training needs, and developing programs, tools, and communication aids to ensure appropriate environmental knowledge is transferred throughout the business_
- _ Ensure alignment between E&T standards and Environmental standards and support the integration of new technologies to ensure appropriate environmental standards are met, and provide environmental expertise for initiatives led or managed by other functional areas_
**Qualifications**
- _ Bachelor Degree majoring in Environmental/Chemical/Agriculture Sciences. Master Degree in Environmental Sciences would be a beneficial_
- _ Minimum 10 Years in Environment management role with Multinational scope_
- _ Experience in developing and implementing strategies to reduce carbon footprint, and having knowledge of regulatory frameworks and reporting standards related to carbon emissions_
- _ Experience in designing and implementing water management plans, including the use of water-saving technologies and practices._
- _ Understanding of regulations and best practices for water quality and resource management._
- _ Proficiency in evaluating waste streams and developing strategies for waste reduction, recycling, and disposal._
- _ Experience in designing and implementing packaging solutions that minimize environmental impact while maintaining functionality and safety._
- _ Understanding of regulations and standards related to packaging sustainability and waste reduction_
- _ Having knowledge on manufacturing processes, preferably in beverage industry_
