As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment. You will lead the restaurant team, manage financial performance, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Your role is crucial in driving the success and growth of our restaurant chain.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Ensure the restaurant adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintain stock levels.
- Implement and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service and address customer complaints and inquiries.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and respond to customer feedback to improve service quality.
Financial Management:
- Manage the restaurant's budget, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and implement cost-saving measures.
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Train staff on health and safety practices and emergency procedures.
**Qualifications & Competencies**:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with a experience as a Restaurant Manager.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
