Ringkasan Fungsi:
Manages the forecasting, production planning and import planning processes for multiple product lines for Asia South (based in Indonesia) in the most efficient and cost effective way. Maintains a broad understanding of all planning initiatives and communicates these initiatives, while working with other functional areas

Tanggung Jawab:

- Work with Business units to generate forecasts over a18-month horizon with focus on next 3 months and facilitate continuous improvements to forecast accuracy. Understand economic trends and their impact on demand.
- Work with SBU, customers and customer care representatives within the region or site to understand demand.
- Work with supply chain team to determine capacity and FPI inventory requirements for production, packing, warehouse, and shipping.
- Ensure the plants have adequate capacity to meet demand throughout the short
- term plans.
- Complete short-range demand planning analysis and recommend solutions to capacity problems.
- Manage the SKU holdings at all facilities in the region and contribute to the long range planning process.
- Manage the forecasting and planning tools and processes including developing new or modified tools.
- Ensure inventory levels are consistent with cost and service criteria defined by regional and/or global management to optimally support Cabot’s business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and standard business practices as they pertain to purchasing and inventory management functions, including internal control and ISO 9000 standards.

Persyaratan:

- Understanding of plant capabilities, throughput constraints of the plant units and each plant’s bottleneck, rates and cycle times.
- Knowledge of Inventory Management Processes, Production Scheduling & Control, and MRP Systems.
- Possess proficiency in demand planning tools, such as JDA, SAP and linear programming packages.
- Possess a working knowledge of strategic planning, forecasting and inventory planning, management budgeting practices and the capital planning process.
- Business management skills including the ability to develop, translate and manage strategy, to formulate and monitor budgets, expenses, and to manage costs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to impact and influence all levels of employees and management, both inside the company and externally with suppliers.
