Job Description: Administrative & Collection Intern

Position Summary: As an Administrative & Collection Intern, you will provide support to the administrative and collections team within the organization. You will assist in various administrative tasks, including data entry, record keeping, and correspondence handling, while also contributing to the collections process by contacting clients regarding outstanding payments and assisting with account reconciliation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Support the collections team by contacting clients regarding overdue payments and negotiating payment plans.
- Assist in reconciling accounts and updating financial records.
- Generate reports related to accounts receivable and collections activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Provide administrative support during meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in administrative support or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with collections processes is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
- Availability to work a minimum of [number of hours] per week during regular business hours.
