**About the Team**:
Beam’s PR and Communications team helps inform and educate communities, policy makers, partners and opinion leaders about the benefits of Beam’s services in their city, how our technology differentiates us and our unique value proposition to drive positive change. They work hand-in-glove with the Government Relations team - both regionally and locally - to use communications to provide “air cover” for our expansion and retention efforts.

**Responsibilities**:
Come join us on the journey as we build a mobility platform that’s not only fun, easy-to-use, and affordable, but kinder to the planet.You will work cross-functionally to help Beam to communicate and advance Beam’s narrative in appropriate media serving the communities we serve. You will develop communication materials and campaigns, and engage journalists, commentators and other opinion leaders to support public affairs initiatives, business expansion, counter significant misinformation about the company in the press and improve the company’s profile across a variety of channels.

**You will also**:

- Proactively promote Beam’s contributions to Indonesia’s economic, social and environmental goals.
- Work closely with the The Micromobility Research Partnership to develop research and editorial with renowned academics, commentators and NGO’s that highlight the positive benefits of micromobility for Indonesian cities.
- Monitor and develop insights around the public narrative on Beam and the micromobility industry
- Draft content, communications programme, attend industry meetings.
- Own day-to-day execution of public relations
- Manage ongoing executive communications opportunities, including media briefings, speaking engagements, partner & industry activities.

**Requirements**:

- We're looking for a great communicator who is bilingual (Bahasa Indonesia & English), can understand complex issues on safety and parking and explain these issues effectively in person, and also via well written medium and self publication platforms, such as Linkedin, blog etc.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Public Relations, Media or Corporate Communications.
- Clear writing style and good understanding of the media landscape in Indonesia and the ability to identify trending topics and issues of interest to the company.
- Well maintained media relationships in technology, mobility or urban planning.
