Are you a skilled Accountant with a passion for hospitality? Join our team at Komodo Resort, where adventure meets luxury We are currently seeking a talented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. As an integral part of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process invoices received from vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with purchase orders and contracts.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payments via check, electronic transfer, or other approved methods.
- Maintain vendor records and communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment inquiries or issues.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts payable transactions and preparing reports as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor accounts payable aging to ensure timely payments and prevent overdue balances.
- Assist with audits and provide support as needed to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounts payable function.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of [insert number] years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing accounts payable processes.
- Experience with multi-entity or multi-location accounts payable operations is a plus.
