**Job Summary**: The Afterschool Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising afterschool programs for students. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and working closely with school staff, parents, and community partners.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement engaging afterschool programs and activities that align with educational and recreational goals.
- Create and manage a schedule of activities.
- Evaluate and adjust programs based on feedback and assessment of student needs and interests.
- Supervise, provide guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for all participants by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues or conflicts among students.
- Act as a liaison between parents, teachers, and students to communicate program details, updates, and any concerns.
- Organize and conduct regular meetings with third parties to review program effectiveness and address any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and other relevant data.
- Prepare reports and documentation for school.
- Other related duties as assigned by Principal.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Education
- **Experience**: Previous experience in program coordination, teaching, or working with children in an educational or recreational setting.
- **Skills**: Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Strong organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in using office software and technology.
