**About the Role**

A great opportunity awaits our Legal Supervisor who will represent Gojek and the Legal Team for a majority of its legal and business advisory. Together with the Product Legal Stream, you’ll run points for all legal matters that are related to all Gojek’s on demand business streams, primarily Food, Transport, Commercial and Merchants.

You will also manage other pivotal streams, international projects and other initiatives that are demanded by Gojek’s business. In view of our recent merger with Tokopedia, this position will play a pivotal role in the integration and product development and other commercial initiatives as well. As part of the award-winning legal team, you will be involved in various legal tech related works such as drafting commercial contracts and providing legal advice on various product development by the business team.

**What You Will Do**:

- Run point for all legal matters of the on demand business streams, primarily Food, Transport, Commercial, and Merchants
- Maintain stakeholder management and work closely with other department
- Provide legal services, including advisory, agreement drafting, agreement reviewing, and legal analysis in relation to various legal-technology related works
- Collaborate with external counsel, where considered necessary

**What You Will Need**:

- Bachelor of Law degree. Having a master’s degree is a plus
- Have an interest or experience in law and technology
- At least 3-4 years of experience in the field of law, preferably a mix of law firm and in house experience
- Advance level of spoken and written English proficiency
- Team player and ambitious
- Highly responsible, motivated, independent, and passionate about the law
- Possesses ability to adapt and have strong willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Have excellent communication skill and social competence skill
- Domiciled in Greater Jakarta

**About the Team**

The Gojek Legal team is a highly collaborative group of 50 lawyers stationed across Jakarta, Singapore, and Vietnam. The gist of our role is to support the team's efforts to scale Gojek's international business operations whilst managing legal risks appropriately. Working with the Business, Product, and various functional teams across the organization, we act as a strategic partner for Gojek on legal matters regarding fintech products (i.e. P2P lending, e-money, e-wallet), strategic deals and partnerships, data protection & privacy, intellectual property, antitrust/competition law, fundraising, and capital market laws, among other domains.

It’s no secret that we take our duties seriously as a team. Our team has supported Gojek in successfully expanding internationally to Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore. We were also awarded the Asian Legal Business Indonesia In House Team Of The Year for 3 consecutive years 2019, 2020, and 2021 - major milestones for our legal family.
