**About a Job**

We are seeking a Chief Representative to lead and drive operational effectiveness and efficiency, align operational goals with the company’s vision and policy agenda, optimize resource utilization, ensure compliance, and continuous improvement to support the successful execution of the company’s initiatives. The Chief Representative is responsible for setting and operationalizing Indonesia company’s broader vision, strategy, and goals.

This position is responsible for overseeing and managing various operational functions, including sourcing, logistic, supplier management, and external relations with regulators such as customs, and the Indonesian government. The Chief Representative plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our company's business and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

**Responsibilities**:
l Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.

l Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, government officials, and plywood industry professionals

l Act as a primary point of contact and liaison between the head office and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication flow and timely responses

l Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide wide solutions to ensure business operation

l Further develop and maintain a strong focus on risk management procedures to ensure high standards of product quality and minimize risks of production break downs.

l Investigate and develop new plywood suppliers to enhance domestic production competition

l Handling the quality inspections on plywood to make sure they meet our company's standards and specifications, ensuring the products are of high quality. Monitor supplier delivery performance, ensuring accurate delivery schedules.

**About You**
- 5-10 years of sourcing or quality controlling experience in plywood industry and track record of proven success and exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement. Familiarity with local government trade operations, and logistic policies is preferred.
- Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English, prefer could speak Chinese, enabling effective communication.
- Ability to successfully navigate multiple conflicting priorities and viewpoints to synthesize the best outcome. Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ability to navigate complex political environments and work effectively within the suppliers and customers.
- Ability to quickly build trust within and between teams to encourage alignment the company goal.
- Have strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Familiar with plywood characteristics, quality standards, and relevant inspection methods.
