Maintenance - Strategic Asset Planning Advisor

Due to them entering an expansion phase of the project they are now looking for a Maintenance Strategic Planning Advisor to be based in Indonesia. You will need to have previous technical and supervisory experience within $multimillion mining projects.

**Location**: Indonesia

**Conditions**: Residential + relocation assistance

**Salary**: Attractive Expat Package

**Roster**: 5 days a week

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the repair function of all components by developing short term and long-term strategic plans for the overhaul and repair of components with the allocated suppliers and in-house workshop
- Strategically plan; co-ordinate and manage the logistics of the overhaul/ repair of components
- Control component repair and rebuild costs and assure their availability
- Partner with Procurement and Logistics to support the negotiations of long-term agreements with the allocated suppliers
- Manage the process of analysis and evaluation of quotations; Turn Around Time (TAT); costing; invoices; and other technical / administrative functions; in order to ensure close support and continuous collaboration the relevant departments.
- Proactively monitor and report on each component send for warranty, repair, replace or refurbished and effectively manage performance shortfalls in a timely manner; escalating issues to senior management where necessary.
- Ensuring the safety of staff in carry out all activities.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of technical management experience with component repair processes.
- Excellent understanding of the mine maintenance function and procedures.
- Proficient technical knowledge of major mining equipment.
- Proficient computer skills, ideally with SAP
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills.
- Available to work extended hours.
