**WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE**

Responsible for reviewing and managing tax-related business processes to ensure compliance under the tax framework, coordinating with related teams in planning tax strategy to develop mitigation action plans for tax audit findings, and keeping up-to-date on tobacco business industry and excise matters in order to improve the business process that supports company objective.

**WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Tax Compliance**:
1. Manage and monitor the tax-related business process and workflows in order to ensure compliance towards tax and transfer pricing framework as well as responsible for on-time submission of all required tax documents.
2. Monitor the implementation of internal procedures and potentially J-SOX controls in the tax area.
3. Supervise and review the preparation of state Corporate Income Tax Returns (CITR) and related work papers to ensure its compliance with Indonesian Tax Regulations and meet JTI standards.

4. Manage Corporate Tax Projection, all tax accounts and any related party transactions to be complied with arm's length principles including the related supporting documents.

**Planning and Risk Management**:
1. Coordinate with tax personnel and non-tax personnel in order to design tax planning strategies that align with business objectives.
2. Manage tax process by understanding the business process with matrix structures in order to identify possible tax audit findings and propose a mitigation tax action plan in the future.
3. Lead the Tax Audit process by ensuring all working papers / supporting documents are prepared accurately and timely in submission, identifying any potential issues, and coordinating with other relevant functions to minimize the risk of the tax litigation process.

**Development and Improvement**:
1. Keep updating of tobacco business industry and excise-related matters to be able to create solid tax planning that improves the business process to support company objectives by coordinating with informative support of HQ / management requests in order to assist in the filing of CFC rules, DIT, planning processes, and other reports and position papers.

2. Continue efforts to seeking for opportunities in process improvement for efficiency also conduct regular tax refreshments for other functions to create tax awareness for saving company costs.

**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economy, or related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum 6 years experience in Accounting and Tax area. Preferably from a multinational FMCG industry and/or Tax Consultant
- Fluent in English
