Land Captain

A leading yacht charter company in Indonesia is looking for a professional Land Captain to join their team immediately.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to write clear and professional reports and communications in English.
- Comfortable and experienced with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for documentation, reporting, and operational tasks.
- Holds a valid Captain Class 4 certification or higher, meeting regulatory and professional standards.
- Strong organisational skills to manage schedules, operational logistics, and reporting effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage on-ground activities efficiently.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in addressing issues related to operations and safety.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of the trip, preparing the trip, following up with each vessel during the trip, and preparing the end of trip reports.
- Approving all Itinerary and all technical supplies for the vessel before each trip.
- Following up on a daily basis on the trip, vessel and crew situation.
- Gathering all information necessary for the end of trip report, providing this information to the Fleet Manager to prepare the report.
- Keep the vessel's operation readiness with preemptive maintenance.
- Help recruit new crew, train and manage the crew on all vessels.
- Act as leading captain, supervise the Fleet Captains, assist all captains when needed, ready to replace or take lead on any trip when needed.
- Directly responsible for all legal documents on the vessels, from registration to clearance.
- Represent the company legally with the sea authorities and Harbour Master.
- Land based captain reports to the Fleet Manager.
- Keep an updated sheet with all the vessels documents, date of expiries and active plan of keeping all documents up to date.
- Prepare a monthly report on all maintenance done on each vessel and project next month maintenance.
- Prepare a monthly report on all technical consumables on board.( fuel, water, oil)
- Prepare a monthly HR report with all the crew names, holidays taken and holidays left for the year.
