Collaborate with the kitchen staff to gather and organize food orders efficiently.
- Ensure that each dish is complete, properly plated, and visually appealing before delivering it to the guests.
- Accurately match food and beverage orders with the corresponding table numbers and guest requests.
- Transport food and beverages to the appropriate tables in a timely and careful manner, avoiding spills and mishaps.
- Assist the waitstaff in serving guests by refilling water glasses, clearing empty dishes, and providing condiments or additional items as needed.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to address guest questions and requests.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and arranging seating as required.
- Collaborate with the kitchen to expedite the delivery of food and beverages during busy periods.
- Assist in restocking supplies, such as condiments, utensils, and napkins, to ensure a smooth service.
- Communicate effectively with both the kitchen and waitstaff to coordinate orders and address any discrepancies or issues.
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Follow all safety and hygiene guidelines when handling and delivering food and beverages.
- Assist with other tasks, such as bussing tables, cleaning, and helping with dishwashing as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and teamwork-oriented atmosphere within the establishment.
