**Legal at Coda**

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Policy Advocacy**: Develop and execute a regional government affairs strategy, ensuring that Coda is effectively represented in policy discussions relating to gaming, digital commerce and payments across Southeast Asia.
- ** Stakeholder Engagement**: Build and maintain strong relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry associations and other key stakeholders across the region.
- ** Regulatory Monitoring**:Track emerging government policies and legislative changes that may impact Coda’s business operations in the region. Provide timely, strategic actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- ** Public Affairs**: Collaborate with the communications and legal teams to manage the company’s public policy narrative, including crafting speeches, briefings, and position papers that support government engagement efforts.
- ** Crisis Management**: Support the company in managing reputational or policy crises by developing appropriate response strategies and engaging with relevant authorities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, Law, Business, or related fields.
- A minimum of 7 years experience in public policy, government affairs, regulatory affairs, corporate affairs or legal roles, with a focus on Southeast Asia
- Strong understanding of local and regional political dynamics, policy frameworks and regulations that impact the gaming and payments industries.
- Proven track record of engaging with and influencing policymakers, regulators and other government bodies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and native-level proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities, with sound judgment and commitment to delivering results.
- Experience in the Fintech or gaming industry will be highly advantageous, but is not required.
- Hands-on, independent, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- High level of discretion and integrity, with an understanding of political sensitivity.
