We’re looking for a Creative Content & Scriptwriting Associate to our client who is a personal finance business by developing fresh content ideas and crafting compelling content scripts with an approachable, knowledgeable, and conversational tone.
Someone who thinks strategically, writes persuasively, works quickly, iteratively, and has a passion for language. Your passion for personal finance and exceptional scriptwriting skills will be instrumental in delivering compelling messages to our audience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conceptualize, research, and create compelling content on topics related to budgeting, saving, investing, debt management, and financial planning.
- Come up with ideas for video shorts around helping creators figure out their finances
- Conduct research to support those ideas - eg tax writeoffs, details on structuring companies, budgeting, wealth management, retirement, incorporation
- Write scripts (say 20-30 in a couple hours)
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Craft captivating scripts for educational videos, podcasts, webinars, and other multimedia content formats to deliver financial advice in an engaging and accessible manner.
- Visual Storytelling: Work closely with designers and multimedia specialists to visualize and enhance the impact of financial concepts through creative visuals and animations.
- Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in personal finance and scriptwriting. Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve the effectiveness of our content.
- Content Distribution: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure effective distribution of content across various platforms, including social media, websites, and other channels.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO strategies and keyword research to enhance the discoverability and visibility of our personal finance content.
- Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure that all financial information provided in the content is accurate, compliant with regulations, and adheres to ethical standards.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor content performance metrics, audience feedback, and engagement levels to continuously improve the impact and relevance of our content.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1-2+ years of writing, creating language, and content strategy, ideally in a startup setting.
- Proven experience in scriptwriting, content creation, or video production, preferably in the personal finance or financial services industry.
- A genuine interest in personal finance and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a relatable and approachable manner.
- Excellent scriptwriting, storytelling and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar, style, and tone.
- Familiarity with financial concepts, investment strategies, and money management principles.
- Proficiency in using content management systems, video editing software, and other relevant tools.
- Understanding of social platforms and retention tactics (eg. Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, TikTok, etc.)
- Experience creating content in long-form and short-form clips.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Strong research and analytical skills to produce accurate and reliable financial content.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a dynamic team environment.
