As a KEG Equipment Engineer in Assembly/Module SSD you will be responsible for development / support of highly automated and computerized Backend equipment (Assembly/Module SSD). You will be leading equipment development and selection to support new product development. You will lead and/or participate in teams to support, improve, provide innovative solution and recommendation to enhance equipment performance, capabilities and features to meet production and new product requirements. You will require to support, install and qualify Equipment deployed globally to other manufacturing sites in order to most effectively meet customer / product requirements as well as global Assembly/Module SSD and Micron objectives. You will be involved in design and develop of automation solution. You will participate in teams to support site integration / new site development efforts and support global alignment activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interface with Business Units or other stakeholders to establish new equipment requirements to support new product/process development.
- Conduct equipment roadmap development and TOR selections through KTDA and tool head-to-head evaluations.
- Maintain KEG Business Process
- Conduct TOR breakthrough development to enhance TOR processing capabilities as well as TOR performance improvements.
- Collaborate with site teams globally to drive, develop, and implement improvements in equipment that drive cost reduction, improve quality, EHS and delivery performance.
- Support site in deployment and qualification of new TOR site.
- Support site in TOR/Process Development and integration projects need.
- Interface with other departments (where applicable) to facilitate manufacturability.
- Communicate with suppliers, peers, and customers (business units and manufacturing sites) to accurately relay technical information.
- Support ATCP/Site IE in establishing TOR and tool set for new package family introduction and support their FOAK qualification.
- Develop Automation and Systemization solution for Assembly/Module SSD tool and processes together with equipment and automation vendors.
- Develop APC solutioning to increase equipment and process stability by using online equipment and process data and accelerate yield learning by linking these data using IoT and FDC.
- Responsible for developing FDC model to collect tool traces for ingestion into E3 and using this to manage TTTM within the network.
- Maintain a strong and open relationship with peer group and engineers in other functional areas and in partner organizations.
- Actively share information with others to raise level of awareness and knowledge.
- Support Metro/RDA MTEP Evaluation (for module process), Decision Analysis, develop and manage projects designed to reduce cost, improve throughput, reduce tool measurement variability, and perform research and develop new metrology capabilities to improve detection capability.
- Identify, diagnose and resolve equipment related problems and responsible for the overall equipment performances, i.e. UTIL, AVAILABILITY etc.
- Define and align network Equipment Preventive Maintenance documentation.
- Lead / participate in equipment benchmarking and definition of Tool of Record (TOR)
- Lead / coordinate new equipment installation and production release, incl. buyoff, training, etc.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Occasional travel may be required.

**Requirements**:

- Master's / Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with an inclination towards software technology.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent Project management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, Project Management Software or any equivalent software.
- Highly result driven individual, self-motivated and ability to multi-task and manage dynamic priorities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skill and a good team player.
- Ability to participate in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing process, equipment, packaging and module assembly is an advantage.
- Possess knowledge of equipment to product output quality interaction is an advantage.
- Knowledge to industry 4.0 requirements is an advantage.
