The U.S. Bi-Mission in Jakarta, Indonesia is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for position of HVAC Maintenance Worker

The work schedule for this position is:
Full Time (40 hours per week)

**Duties**:
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION

Working in the Facility Management section of the Embassy, the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Maintenance Worker carries out maintenance and repair work to all mission buildings and facilities including residential owned and leased properties.

As a multi skilled maintenance man, performs the daily preventive maintenance duties on the HVAC, appliances and equipment at USG owned and leased properties and the Embassy Compound. Analyze equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot and repair or replace as required. Provide judgement if other skilled tradesmen are needed to perform a repair. Record the trending repairs for equipment for the Maintenance Supervisors to determine the replacement based on the trouble or the life cycle.

**EXPERIENCE**:
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial or industrial HVAC systems is required.
- Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required and/or completion of vocational training from an accredited institute recognized as producing journeyman level technicians with specialization in the HVAC field is required.
- Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Level 2 (Limited Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing of English is required **(this may be tested).** Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing of Bahasa Indonesia is required.
- Qualifications:

- All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications and complete a mandatory probationary period for LE Staff.
