Join us as a Sales Engineer for the Process Automation Business area where you will be responsible for the sales of products and services from the Lorentzen & Wettre product and KPM product group. ABB - Lorentzen & Wettre unit is the world leading manufacturer of quality control and process optimization equipment in the pulp and paper industry. The unit is responsible for research and development, marketing, technical support, and manufacturing. We are a team of 75 people in Kista (Sweden) and Kajaani (Finland), as well as a global sales network, which allows us to act as a highly committed team focused on the importance of our business. We have four product lines in our portfolio and have ambitious growth targets for our pulp measurement product line. Our customers are pulp and paper producers all over the world and we are regarded as a partner to them since 100+ years. Customers use our products to optimize their production process by reducing costs of energy and raw materials as well as improving the uniformity of the production. This position reports to the Area Sales Manager and based in Jakarta, Indonesia

**Your responsibilities**:

- Driving sales process in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager for Lorentzen & Wettre and KPM products in Indonesia
- Generating sales opportunities and securing profitable sales within the designated area
- Building long term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues
- Visiting customers with product presentations, preparing and following up quotations, negotiating and closing orders
- Working closely with our channel partners in the region to increase their knowledge
- Striving to create and develop opportunities and customer budgets for our products
- Focusing on installed base penetration (IB) and sales of the entire portfolio in collaboration with the service team in the region
- Cooperating with the local ABB sales team and optimize the total ABB scope of sales for any opportunities in the market

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Pulp and Paper industry
- Good computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce tool
- Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal, autonomous, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in English required, additional language skills beneficial
- This role requires approximately 60% travel within the area, ideally based around Jakarta, or Pekanbaru, or Riau province
