Sampoerna University operates programs under the licensure and credentialing authorities of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Set up with national and international standards, Sampoerna University is uniquely qualified to make substantive contributions to society through education.

**Sampoerna University Mission**

Sampoerna University aims to provide students affordable access to education that meets the highest international standards. Sampoerna University offers a curriculum unique in Indonesia built around an American general education core, successfully preparing students for credential completion at Sampoerna University or for recognized transfer abroad. We also provide a full spectrum of cocurricular and pre-professional opportunities that ensure student success, preparing leaders for a global society.

To contribute to the scholarship and intellectual life of the University by conducting University TriDharma as appropriate under Head of Department supervision. To participate in the University and wider Department activities. The main responsibility includes the following:

- To engage in undergraduate teaching. The range of duties may vary from time to time but faculty are engaged primarily in lecturing. Some class teaching may also be required.
- To conduct research, which enhances the School’s high academic reputation. Publication of articles in refereed journals or proceedings, author of book, book editing, module/lesson plan, book translation, and seminar/conference presenter/speaker are some alternative outcomes.
- To manage as appropriate any research grants secured, including the recruitment and management of any research assistants. To be responsible for the timely delivery of associated research reports.
- To engage in examining duties, i.e. the production of exam questions/papers, exam marking and moderation.
- To participate in various Community Development activity approved by the University.
- To act as academic advisor to students and to refer students to sources of pastoral support.
- To participate in various University events as committee.
- To implement other duties and tasks required by Faculty and/or Rectorate.

**Qualifications**
- ** Applicants must have earned a Doctoral degree in Computer Science/ Communication Engineering / Computer Engineering/ Electrical Engineering from a reputable university on or before the start date of employment** (graduates from universities abroad are strongly encouraged to apply).
- Applicants must have demonstrated excellent teaching experiences at the university level, and possess excellent spoken and written English skills, classroom management skills, and strong communication and presentation skills.
