Wordpress Developer

We are a Bali-based inbound visa agency, seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our mission of enhancing and maintaining web services that power our growing business. You'll work alongside internal and external teams to design, develop, and optimize scalable, secure, and user-friendly websites. **Responsibilities**:
1. Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements.

2. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website and/or issues efficiently.

3. Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality.

4. Implement and maintain best practices for website security and data privacy compliance.

5. Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility for a seamless user experience.

6. Collaborate with other developers to implement innovative solutions for our web projects.

**Requirements**:

- Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, including custom post types, taxonomies, and hooks.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP. -Experience managing and optimizing databases (e.g., MySQL) and familiarity with database migration tools.
- Experience with WooCommerce and related extensions for e-commerce functionality.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with popular SEO plugins like Yoast or Rank Math.
- Knowledge of WordPress security practices, including malware scanning, firewall configuration, and user role management.
- Expertise in web performance optimization (e.g., caching, lazy loading, CDN integration, Server Optimization).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.

**Experience**:

- WordPress Developer: 2 years (preferred)
