Bartender (Dw)

**Prepare and Serve Drinks**:

- Mix and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Check identification to ensure customers meet the legal drinking age.

**Customer Service**:

- Greet customers and provide a friendly, attentive service.
- Take orders accurately and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner.

**Bar Maintenance**:

- Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Stock the bar with supplies such as liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the management team.

**Cash Handling**:

- Accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and perform end-of-shift reconciliations.

**Compliance**:

- Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications:
**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a bartender or in a related customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and beverage trends.

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.

**Certifications**:

- Certification from a recognized bartending school is a plus.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items such as cases of liquor, kegs, and bar supplies.
- Manual dexterity for handling small items like drink garnishes and tools.
