Research Manager, Qualitative

The primary responsibility is to manage accounts on a day to day basis and effectively contribute to the efficiency of the business unit. The role contributes to the business success by managing a hard-working team to deliver great work. They are also responsible for crafting meaningful impact on our client’s businesses and as a key interface between the organisation and our clients. The role provide exposure of explorative studies to Brand Guidance expertise.

Insights
Our insights colleagues are experts in human understanding. With expertise covering brand, innovation, creative, media, commerce and customer experience, they help clients define what brands should stand for, how to disrupt and renew their offer, how to connect with audiences and how to win with consumers and customers.
Key Outcomes
- Independently maintain client relationship (which will reflect in good client feedback score).
- Lead projects - give direction to juniors with less supervision from seniors, make decision/ suggestion to run the projects, create report and presentation.
- Ensure a good quality of research materials.
- Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of your clients and their business in all interactions with clients, and deliverables and analysis conducted for them.
- Articulate insights (both in writing and in person/presentation) to provide clients with outcomes that meet or go above and beyond.
- Lead or supervise daily communication with clients.
- To coach 1-2 juniors by regularly sharing knowledge and preparing them to be ready for the next level.
- Develop positive relationships with clients to the extent they actively seek your opinions, information and advice.
- Mentor and develop team members through constructive feedback to identify areas of strength, and areas required for improvement.
Key Capabilities
- 5 year of proven experience in Market Research agency or Research Projects.
- Good communication skills verbally and written - know what to and not to say
- Good leadership skills - to motivate his/her team, to be the role model and inspired his/her juniors,
- Good research knowledge - know & can decide the best methods, make research design, create insights
