Job Description
Report the Quality Assurance operation to the Factory Manager.
Supervise and evaluate work procedures and standards related to operational activities.
Control, implement, and supervise the examination of the process of implementing quality policies to support the achievement of predetermined quality standards.
Control and supervise the raw material and finished goods quality in order to meet the standards set by the Company.
Supervise and evaluate socialization programs related to work procedures, company policy standards, and food safety.
Document control.
Responsible for internal/external audits and inspections and assist in corrective actions when necessary.
Analyze and evaluate the findings of the audit reports to the Top Management to ensure the operations activities run in accordance with the given standards.
Ensure that the Quality Assurance department is properly organized, staffed, and trained to meet and achieve plant and departmental goals.
Monitor industry and regulatory updates, trends, and news to keep the company informed and ahead of the curve.
Requirement
Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Science-related major (Food Technology or Chemistry related major preferred), minimum 5 years of experience in the same work role (QA/QC).
Having certifications/expertise in HACCP, ISO 22000, Food Safety, Hygiene & Sanitation, and Halal and Kosher System.
Familiar with measurement tools and instruments.
Have good knowledge of QC systems, sampling methods, and implementation of quality control in the field (ISO 9001, TQM, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, CAPA, GKM, 5S/5R, FSSC 22000, Halal, Kosher).
The detail-oriented, proactive, critical, analytical, and logical approach to problem-solving.
Highly motivated, strong team player, with a good ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as necessary.
Have a good communication skills in English both oral and written.
Strong written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner.
Computer literate (Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
