Our client is tirto.id, an online media and publishing company, founded in August 2016. It is considered as one of the sites nowadays-audience visits for news, articles, opinions, and infographics in Indonesia, by presenting publications of both national and international events and trends, based on facts and data.

Their mission is to enlighten people by presenting easily accessible, clarifying, enlightening, insightful, contextual, in-depth, investigative, and factual information to all types of readers.

Together with experienced resources and experts from social science, journalistic publications, research, and statistics, tirto.id chose precision journalism as one of the principles.

**Role Description**:
Editor in Chief in tirto.id will act as the highest-ranking member of the editorial team, responsible to manage the team of writers and editors, determine the look and feel of the publication, decide what to publish and oversee the publication's operations and policies. The person will also be the manager of any print or digital publications, such as determining the look and feel of the publication, deciding on the materials and publications, and leading the publication's team of editors, copyeditors, and writers.

**Job Descriptions**:

- Responsible for the editorial content of the company
- Responsible for the article quality
- Responsible for the editorial meetings
- Provide direction to all editorial teams regarding news that will be broadcast on the website
- Determining whether or not a content is appropriate for broadcast on the website
- Coordination with Company Leaders, and divisions outside the editor to synergize the running of the company
- Develop, foster and establish relationships with resource persons in the government, business world, and other agencies
- Bachelor degree from any relevant fields
- Have a minimum 10 years of experience in media (print, online, broadcast)
- Have an experience as senior editor or managing editor
- Have a license as main journalist

**Salary**: Up to Rp35,000,000 per month
