Patent Specialist

We are currently looking for experienced Patent Specialists to join the Firm's Intellectual Property & Technology (IPTech) practice group and help maintain the standards of excellence for which we are known.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Drafting translations of patent specifications
- Preparing and filing requests for substantive examination
- Reviewing and reporting on the Patent Office's substantive examination results
- Reviewing and reporting the Patent Office's other types of office actions
- Drafting responses to the Patent Office's substantive examination results and other types of office actions
- Reporting on issuance of notices of allowance
- Attending to patent annuities
- Reporting on issuance of patent certificates
- Carrying out patent searches

Applicants must be Indonesian citizens with the following qualifications:

- A bachelor’s degree or the equivalent with relevant technical background
- Relevant experience of more than five years in patent prosecution work in Indonesia
- Proficiency in computerized systems and MS Office
- Excellent English skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to work on challenging assignments in a team environment
- A soft copy of your permanent academic record, certificate of degree and relevant licenses
