**Key Responsibilities**:
Brand Stewardship:

- Visual Identity: Maintaining and evolving the company's visual identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints (logo, colour palettes, typography, imagery).

Marketing & Advertising:

- Campaign Development: Leading the visual design for marketing campaigns, including online and offline advertising, brochures, catalogues, and promotional materials.
- Packaging Design: Overseeing the design of product packaging to ensure it is visually appealing, on-brand, and effectively communicates product information.
- Web & Digital Design: Collaborating with web developers and UX/UI designers to ensure the website and online presence align with the brand's visual identity.
- Social Media: Guiding the visual content creation for social media platforms, maintaining a consistent brand aesthetic and engaging visual storytelling.

In-Store Experience:

- Visual Merchandising: Collaborating with the merchandising team to create visually appealing and effective product displays, store layouts, and signage.
- Point-of-Sale Materials: Designing point-of-sale materials like posters, banners, and shelf talkers to attract customer attention and promote products.

Team Management:

- Leadership: Leading and mentoring a team of designers, providing creative direction, feedback, and guidance.
- Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment on visual communication strategies.

Market Research:

- Trend Awareness: Keeping up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices in the retail and distribution industry.
- Competitive Analysis: Analyzing the visual communication strategies of competitors to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.

**Requirements**:

- The Art Director needs to be versatile and adaptable. They must balance creative vision with practical considerations, such as budget constraints and production timelines.
- Strong leadership qualities, communication, collaboration, and project management skills are essential for success in this role.
- Three or more years of proven working experience as Art Director.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, interior design, architecture or related field.
- Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, colour, web layout design, print production, image selection, package design, and 3D modelling is a plus point;
- Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wireframing tools; demonstratable design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Passion for design and always thinking of ways to improve.
- Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing various audiences.
