Supplier Mapping

We are looking for a highly motivated Supplier Mapping to assist the company in creating strong relationships with suppliers and maintaining the existing ones in the areas of Java. The supplier mapping responsibilities include sourcing goods, materials, and services at competitive prices and advising upper-level staff members on which suppliers to contract with. You should be able to maintain and update the supplier database and find alternative suppliers if the existing ones are unable to meet their obligations.

A high-performing sourcing specialist should be able to develop and implement innovative ideas to enhance sourcing strategies.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers.
- Realizing a suppliers’ mapping and provide regular updates of benchmarking data to Sales department.
- Implementing sourcing and inventory optimization strategies within the company
- .Obtaining quotes from different suppliers.
- Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation.
- Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
- Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes.
- Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing..

**General Requirements**
- Age 20-35
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both verbal and written.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good management and organizational skills.
- Honest, trustworthy, proactive.

**Job Specification**
- Bachelor degree is required.
- Preferably in purchasing, logistics, supply chain or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in the furniture and home decoration industry required.
- Wide network of suppliers in Yogyakartam Indonesia and in Asia in general is a plus.
- Proven experience in sourcing processes.
- A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies.
- Experience in sourcing/buying office/trading is a plus.
- Willing to travel extensivelyProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software.
- Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset.
