Project Coorinator

Join our international cooperation project aimed at increasing income of farmers through the establishment of a participatory food value chain. We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator for the project team.

**Position Overview**:
The project is based in Bali, Indonesia, and aims to improve farmers' incomes by strengthening food value chains. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the project with our team to provide professional services across multiple sectors, including social, economic, and environmental issues. This position calls for strong business development, client management, and market research and analysis skills to work with a dynamic and passionate team in implementing a wide-ranging portfolio of projects and partnerships. The Coordinator will also facilitate collaboration with key stakeholders to achieve the project's objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Project Management**
- Planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating project activities
- Managing project finances and monitoring the budget
- Coordinating and liaising with stakeholders (government, local communities etc)
- Promoting capacity building for the target community and farmers
- Preparing and submitting progress reports and final reports

**Business development and client management**
- Cultivate and manage client relationships.
- Understand client needs and develop scope of work and budget.
- Develop new business opportunities with corporate CSR divisions, technology developers, academic partners and other stakeholders.

**Management of market research and analysis**
- Design and manage socio-economic research on particular geographic locations in Indonesia
- Manage market research on specific sectors -agriculture, IT, health, etc. - in Indonesia and other countries.

**Fieldwork**
- Plan and supervise interviews with households and businesses where needed
- Host and accompany clients on field visits and help with interpretation as necessary.

**Data analysis and report writing**
- Data collection, analysis and report writing process;
- Cleaning and analyzing data collected in the field;
- Interpreting and summarizing findings in a succinct, visual way.
- Propose actionable recommendations to clients based on key findings.

**Other tasks**
- Liaise with and build partnerships with local government and relevant authorities.
- Respond to incoming correspondence from local partners, academic partners, and others.
- Undertake other tasks as requested by the team and management.

- Proficient in English AND Indonesian.

- Excellent research and analytical skills, particularly quantitative analysis.

- Advanced computer skills with competency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

**Requirements**:

- Indonesian national.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as economics, business management, and agriculture business.
- At least 3 years of professional work experience
- Practical experience in project management for 3 years
- Rich experience in business consulting and/or the corporate sector.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian, especially strong English writing and presentation skills.
- A can-do and collaborative mindset - comfortable with ambiguities and demands of a rapidly evolving and fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to travel.

**Contract Period**:
December 2024 - November 2025 (with possible extention for 3 years maximum)

First two months after your hiring date will be probation period.
